How to find the Department of Nordic Studies

Die Abteilung für Skandinavistik an der Universität Bonn finden Sie im Universitätshauptgebäude, dem ehemaligen Residenzschloss der Kölner Kurfürsten, direkt in der Stadtmitte und nur unweit von Hauptbahnhof und Zentralem Omnibusbahnhof - siehe Pfeil auf folgender Karte: 

You find the Department of Nordic Studies at the University of Bonn in the main building, the Cologner elector´s former residence, in the middle oft he city center, close to the central station and the central bus terminal - see arrow on the following map:

Die Räume der Abteilung liegen im Erdgeschoss des Hauptgebäudes.

The rooms of the Department are located in the main building´s ground floor.

Von der Stadtseite (Münsterplatz oder Marktplatz) kommend, benutzen Sie den Eingang Etscheidhof
(siehe Foto unten). 

Coming from the city side (Münsterplatz or marketplace), use the entrance "Etscheidhof" (see foto below).

Anschließend gehen Sie geradeaus durch die Säulenhalle
(siehe Foto unten). 

Afterwards you go straight through the columed hall (see foto below).

Vor dem Innenhof "Rosengarten" (siehe Foto rechts) gehen Sie nach rechts.
Nach wenigen Metern stehen sie linkerhand vor der Abteilung für Skandinavistik. 

In front of the "rosarium" (see right hand foto) you go to the right.
After a few meters you are at the Department for Nordic Studies on the left hand side.

Hintereingang Skandinavistik  Zur Rückseite des Universitätshauptgebäudes kommend, benutzen Sie den ersten Eingang auf der linken Seite des Gebäudes - dort weist bereits ein Schild auf die Skandinavistik hin. Sie finden die Abteilung linkerhand neben dem Innenhof "Rosengarten".  

Coming from the back side of the main building, use the first entrance at the left side of the building - a marker already shows the way. You find the Department on the left hand side next to the courtyard "rosarium".
